[00:00:09] Speaker A: Welcome to the creative team talks podcast for Hillsong Creative. [00:00:18] Speaker B: Hey Hillsong Creative family, it's Caleb here and I have the honor and the privilege of pastoring our southwest creative team and big shout out. And today I would love to share a scripture and a quick thought that hopefully will help us as we continue to serve God together in this season as a creative family. And in psalm 133 it says, behold how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell together in unity. And verse three it says, for there the Lord has commanded the blessing life forevermore. You know, one of the things that I love about serving in our creative team is the unity that we share. The unity that we have, and we often say at our southwest campers, is that we are on the same team or we are one team. But let's be honest, sometimes, you know, our humanity gets in the way and we can often get clicky with our team members, and sometimes we can get caught up in ourselves and we let bitterness get in the way or gossip, even selfish ambition can often creep in. And one of the things that the enemy would love to steal from our team is our unity. And so we need to protect our unity as a team. Because as we read that God will bring a blessing upon our team where there is unity. In Philippians 2151 of my favorites says this, therefore, if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind, doing nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility, value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interest, but each of you to the interests of the others. And my simple encouragement for us as a creative team is that let's be a team that serve each other, that encourage one another, and that value others above ourselves. You know, serving each other can be as simple as saying hi or even just making someone a coffee or saving them a seat in the service, or even serving in an area on our team that you don't usually serve in. One of the things that I love seeing at our southwest team is that no one's too good for anything. For example, no one's too good to clean up after a Sunday morning. No one is too good to serve in a different department on our team, I would often see one of our worship leaders serving in the tv department, or one of our musos serving on lyrics or on mons. And so let's be a team who serve each other no matter what and no matter what area that may be. And encouragement goes a long way. You know, let's not be a team that wait for encouragement, but let's be a team who, who give encouragement first. Because as we encourage one another, it brings so much confidence to each other. Let's take action and encourage someone, even right now. Think of someone in our team or in your team that you want to encourage through a text or even a phone call. And let's be a team that value others above ourselves, that put others first. One of the best ways that we can value each other is listen to one another, listen to what people are saying, hear what they had to say. You know, we should be a team that should listen to what people are saying. Because when we listen, we know what's important to them, and what's important to them should be important to us. You know, if someone has an awesome idea, value that idea and listen. And let's create a safe space for them to keep bringing those ideas to our team. And as we continue to serve God and serve each other, let's be a team that continues to protect the unity that we have. And as we do this, I believe that we will continue to see the blessing of God in our team, in our services and in our church. Let's continue to value, serve and love one another. And so, as you serve faithfully on this weekend coming, I pray that you would continue to value one another and that you would continue to serve one another and that you would continue to encourage each other. May you be blessed. Have a great weekend, and all the best.
